Product refresh
Why the change?
The legacy Signup Zone website was built on old technologies and had not been maintained, patched, or updated for many years.
When we took over Signup Zone several years ago, this was already a concern and issues were becoming apparent.
A revitalisation of Signup Zone, at least on the technologies behind it, was unfortunately inevitable.
We understand why many of you might dislike the change initially; however, we urge you to explore the new features — including surveys!
Billing
Why subscriptions?
As many of you are, we are also frustrated with the subscript-ification of all business pricing models and we resisted doing the same on Signup Zone for as long as possible.
Unfortunately, the backend services Signup Zone relies on to thrive all price things on a recurring basis and as such Signup Zone had to adapt in order to survive.
Signup Zone is a labour of love and does not generate much profit as it is. We hope you understand.
Data & privacy
Where is my data?
For registration/sign-in details, those are now located under Surveys.
- Go to your Surveys.
- Click the pencil (Edit) on the appropriate survey.
- On the left, click the Results section (the doughnut chart) to see the responses.
With the migration between the old and new versions of Signup Zone, unfortunately there may have been pieces of data accidentally left behind. If this truly happened to you, please visit the Contact Us page and submit a support request.
Communication
Why didn’t I get an email?
Active users of Signup Zone should have received an email informing them of the change over a month ago. We apologise to those who did not receive the email for any reason.
